HeineJones created a new range of packaging for not-for-profit retailer - LoveLuvo in 2016
The LoveLuvo range of hair and body products, bath salts and soaps contain all natural ingredients and essential oils. The packaging design features the distinctive LoveLuvo brand motif, which carries illustrated product ingredients and fragrance. The objective of this project was to develop a design and colour palette that was simple and impactful, that would stand-out on shelf and complement bathroom decor at home. Importantly the packaging design needed to easily extend to other future product ranges and strongly link to the LoveLuvo brand.
Subtle shifts in label colour and bottle cap colour communicate differences within the range and products. For example, shampoo bottles featured white caps and conditioner bottles featured black caps.
Labels were economical to produce in small quantities being digitally printed onto water proof clear and opaque permanent adhesive stock. Hand application of labels by LoveLuvo staff also ensured costs were minimised for the not-for-profit retailer.
Ultimately there are plans to distribute the product range through other retail outlets, which will create further brand recognition and equity for LoveLuvo.
